Shed sessions Currently run on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdayswith experienced people on hand to give advice and support. The shed is situated in central Crewkerne with lots of natural light and is well equipped with hand and power tools. Members can carry out their own activities and suggest new projects for the shed.
Crewkerne Shed is a community project, in addition to providing a venue for members to meet it also operates a FIX-IT program for the community.
The Crewkerne & District Shed is part of a nationwide network of more than 500 sheds, which aim to provide a way for men and women to participate in craft skills and meet people making new friends as they carry out a wide range of activities.
The Shed is a not-for-profit organisation and all funds raised from membership and session fees go towards running costs, tool replacement etc.
We gratefully acknowledge the support of the many organisations and companies that contribute financial and material assistance that makes the Crewkerne Shed a success, these include Somerset County Council, Crewkerne Town Council, Avon & Somerset Police, Co-Op Stores, Modus Furniture, Waitrose & the many other individual donations.
